Winnie is a lovable, friendly female Doberman/German Shorthaired Pointer mix dog, approximately 4 years old. She was found as a stray and then sprung from a local shelter when she found herself there.
Winnie gets along well with large and small dogs. She is kenneled trained and house broken. Winnie loves being where you are, she might be considered a bit of a "Velcro dog", she just loves her rescuer that much! She likes to be outside while you are out there and likes to lay with you while you watch tv on the couch. Winnie does great with the fosters two small children ages 1 and 3.
It did take Winnie awhile to warm up to the foster's husband, she was just a little timid of him at first.
The ideal home for Winnie would be someone who likes to spend time at home but would be fine if left alone while at work. Winnie would do best in a home with other dogs, who can show her "the ropes" and teach her the house routine. It may take her sometime to warm up but I think she is a quick learner and wants to please.
